Barry has spent his entire career serving and protecting his community. As a father, husband, and career prosecutor, Barry fights to keep his family and the families of his community safe. Barry holds criminals accountable, while being an advocate for crime victims. Guided by his conservative values and principles, Barry will work tirelessly to protect the citizens of Washington County and ensure public safety.
Barry was born and raised on a dairy farm and attended Campbellsport High School. He graduated from Marian University and Marquette University Law School. During law school, Barry served as a student practitioner with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. After graduating from Marquette University Law School, Barry served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Racine and Waushara County District Attorneys’ Offices, working side-by-side with law enforcement, prosecuting homicides, sexual assaults, drug trafficking, OWIs, and domestic violence. Barry currently serves as the Deputy District Attorney of the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office, under District Attorney, and former Republican candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General, Eric Toney.
Washington County families should always feel safe in their homes and communities. I will fight to ensure that dangerous criminals are kept off the streets and put behind bars where they belong.
Washington County Law Enforcement will be able to effectively do their job knowing I have their backs. I will stand behind the men and women risking their lives to keep our families safe.
I will never go soft on criminals at the expense of victims. As your District Attorney, I will stand for justice and always support and advocate for victims in Washington County.
